Built by Robertson and Caine, founded in 1991 in Cape Town, South Africa. The yard specialises in sail and power catamarans produced largely for the charter trade, and is the main supplier to The Moorings and Sunsail.
Adriavela lists 407 Leopard boats. They cover 20 separate models, the largest groups being Leopard 45 (96), Leopard 42 (72) and Leopard 50 (71). Lengths run from 12 to 23.5 metres. Accommodation runs to 3 to 6 cabins and 6 to 12 berths. Build years run from 1997 to 2026.
They are spread across 23 countries, the largest group of them - 163 boats - in British Virgin Islands. Prices start at €459 a day on a 7-day charter, across the 52 boats that carry a published rate; the rest are quoted on request. A catamaran puts the cabins on two hulls and the living space between them, so it sleeps a full group without anyone passing through someone else's berth, and it lies flat at anchor - which is why these go first in July and August.
