The Bali line was launched in 2014 by Catana Group, a catamaran builder founded in 1984 in Canet-en-Roussillon. It specialises in charter catamarans built around a solid foredeck and a tilting aft door that joins cockpit and saloon.
Adriavela lists 492 Bali boats. They cover 14 separate models, the largest groups being Bali Catspace (81), Bali 4.6 (75) and Bali 4.2 (74). Lengths run from 11.3 to 17.7 metres. Accommodation runs to 3 to 8 cabins and 6 to 16 berths. Build years run from 2016 to 2028.
They are spread across 18 countries, the largest group of them - 190 boats - in Greece. Prices start at €208 a day on a 7-day charter, across the 452 boats that carry a published rate; the rest are quoted on request. A catamaran puts the cabins on two hulls and the living space between them, so it sleeps a full group without anyone passing through someone else's berth, and it lies flat at anchor - which is why these go first in July and August.
