The Oceanis 50 Family is a sail boat from Beneteau. Founded in 1884 at Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie as a fishing-boat yard, Beneteau is the largest sailing-boat manufacturer in the world and the centre of a group that also owns Jeanneau, Lagoon, Prestige and Excess. It specialises in production cruising yachts - the Oceanis range - and the First line of cruiser-racers. The hull measures about 15.6 metres. It sleeps up to 13.
Adriavela lists 13 boats of this model. They were built between 2010 and 2012, so the layout and the equipment differ from one hull to the next. The hulls here carry 5 to 6 cabins and 10 to 13 berths.
They leave from bases up and down the coast, Alimos Marina, Cala dei Sardi and Nikiana Marina among them. A 7-day charter starts at €1,256, which is €179 a day. 4 of them are quoted on request. A monohull of this size takes a full crew and still handles like a sailing boat, which is what most skippered weeks on this coast are booked for.
