The TS 42 is a catamaran from Marsaudon Composites. A yard at Lorient building the TS line of fast cruising catamarans, drawn with the naval architect Christophe Barreau. The hulls are vacuum-infused vinylester over a foam core and come out light: a TS 42 is under 6 tonnes, which is why it sails like a racer. Hulls on charter here measure 13 to 14.9 metres. It sleeps up to 8.
Adriavela lists 4 boats of this model. They were built between 2016 and 2022, so the layout and the equipment differ from one hull to the next. The hulls here carry 3 to 4 cabins and 6 to 8 berths.
They leave from bases up and down the coast, Port Ginesta, Port de la Trinité-sur-Mer and Le Marin among them. A 7-day charter starts at €2,699, which is €385 a day. 1 of them are quoted on request. A catamaran puts the cabins on two hulls and the living space between them, so it sleeps a full group without anyone passing through someone else's berth, and it lies flat at anchor - which is why these go first in July and August.
