Getting there
By air. Toulon-Hyères Airport (TLN) is about 50 km — an hour by taxi; Nice (NCE) about 110 km, an hour and a half to two hours on the coast road and the A8. By rail. Saint-Raphaël station (TGVs from Paris) is 35 km, 45 minutes by taxi or bus along the coast. By road. The A8 exit Le Muy, then the D25 to the gulf; paid parking at the marina.

Saint-Tropez’s port, the Place des Lices market and the citadel are 15 minutes across the gulf; Port Grimaud, the lakeside village of canals, is next to the marina; the hill villages of Grimaud, Gassin and Ramatuelle are 10–20 minutes by road. Pampelonne beach is the day-charter destination.
