Getting there
By air. Naples Airport (NAP) is about 20 km from the port of Pozzuoli, then a 40-minute ferry or 20-minute hydrofoil to Procida; the marina is 3 km across the island by taxi or bus. By ferry. Ferries and hydrofoils from Naples Molo Beverello and Pozzuoli land at Marina Grande.
Procida before you cast off
Marina Corricella, the pastel fishing harbour under the Terra Murata citadel, is the image of the island and a twenty-minute walk from the marina; Chiaiolella has the beaches and the islet of Vivara. Naples, Pompeii and Vesuvius are across the bay.
