Getting there
By air. Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is about 8 km from the town marinas — 15 minutes by taxi, with direct flights from across Europe in season. By ferry. Ferries from Barcelona, Denia, Valencia and Palma land in Ibiza port beside the marinas.
Ibiza before you cast off
Dalt Vila, the walled upper town, rises directly above the port; the Sa Penya and La Marina quarters below it are the evening. Es Vedrà, the rock off the south-west coast, and the hippy market at Las Dalias are the island stops; Formentera is the destination.
