Getting there
By air. Palermo Airport (PMO) is about 130 km — an hour and a half by taxi or transfer on the A20; Catania (CTA) about 160 km, two hours. By road and rail. The A20 Messina–Palermo motorway exit Brolo–Capo d’Orlando is ten minutes from the marina; Capo d’Orlando railway station is on the Messina–Palermo line. Paid parking inside the marina.
Capo d'Orlando before you cast off
The town has a long seafront promenade and the Sanctuary on the cape above the harbour; the Nebrodi mountains rise behind it. Cefalù’s cathedral and beach are an hour west, Tindari 40 minutes east.
Supermarkets in the town within a short walk of the marina; the marina has a fuel dock, chandlery, restaurants and a mini-market.
