By air. Olbia Airport (OLB) is about 5 km from the marina — ten minutes by taxi, the shortest transfer in Sardinia. By ferry. Ferries from Livorno, Genoa, Civitavecchia and Piombino land at Olbia’s Isola Bianca terminal, five minutes from the marina. By road. The SS131 and SS125 roads end in Olbia; paid parking inside the marina.
Olbia before you cast off
Olbia’s pedestrian centre, the Romanesque basilica of San Simplicio and the waterfront cafés are a walk from the marinas; Tavolara’s cliffs fill the view across the gulf. Porto Cervo and the Costa Smeralda are 30 minutes by road, the beaches of San Teodoro 25 minutes south.
Supermarkets within a short taxi of the marina and in the town centre; the marina has a fuel dock, chandlery, mini-market and restaurants; Olbia’s market for fresh food.
