Getting there
By air. Olbia Airport (OLB) is about 5 km from the marina — ten minutes by taxi, the shortest transfer in Sardinia. By ferry. Ferries from Livorno, Genoa, Civitavecchia and Piombino land at Olbia’s Isola Bianca terminal, five minutes from the marina. By road. The SS131 and SS125 roads end in Olbia; paid parking inside the marina.
Olbia before you cast off
Olbia’s pedestrian centre, the Romanesque basilica of San Simplicio and the waterfront cafés are a walk from the marinas; Tavolara’s cliffs fill the view across the gulf. Porto Cervo and the Costa Smeralda are 30 minutes by road, the beaches of San Teodoro 25 minutes south.
Supermarkets within a short taxi of the marina and in the town centre; the marina has a fuel dock, chandlery, mini-market and restaurants; Olbia’s market for fresh food.

Saturday — Olbia → Tavolara (8 nm). Out of the gulf to the anchorage under Tavolara’s 500-metre cliffs, or the quay at Porto San Paolo.
Sunday — Tavolara → Porto Cervo (20 nm). North up the Costa Smeralda to Porto Cervo or Cala di Volpe.
Monday — Porto Cervo → La Maddalena (12 nm). Into the archipelago; the town quay of La Maddalena.
Tuesday — La Maddalena → Spargi / Santa Maria (6 nm). The park islands: Cala Corsara, Budelli, Santa Maria for the night.
Wednesday — Santa Maria → Bonifacio (12 nm). Across the strait to Corsica’s cliff-top harbour.
Thursday — Bonifacio → Caprera (14 nm). Back into the park to Caprera’s anchorages.
Friday — Caprera → Olbia (25 nm). South down the coast to the marina by the afternoon.
