Getting there
By air. Split Airport (SPU) is 5 km from the marina — ten minutes by taxi, the closest airport to any major Croatian charter base. By road. Trogir is on the coast road between Split and Šibenik; the A1 motorway exit Prgomet is 20 minutes away. Parking on Čiovo by the marina is limited and reserved through the charter company. By bus. The bus station is beside the old town bridge with services from Split every 20–30 minutes; the marina is a ten-minute walk across the Čiovo bridge.
Trogir before you cast off
The old town is a single street grid of Venetian stone: the cathedral of St Lawrence with its Radovan portal, the loggia and the clock tower on the main square, and the Kamerlengo fortress at the seaward end, whose walls give the best view of the marina and the channel. The Riva along the south side is where crews eat the night before departure, looking across at their boats.
Supermarkets are on the mainland side by the bridge and in the town; the green market is next to the bus station. The marina has a shop and fuel is at the fuel dock on the Čiovo side of the channel.
A week from SCT Marina Trogir
Saturday — Trogir → Drvenik Veli (8 nm). A short first leg to the Krknjaši “blue lagoon” or the harbour at Drvenik Veli, an hour from the marina.
Sunday — Drvenik → Maslinica, Šolta (6 nm) → Vis (20 nm). A swim stop at Maslinica, then the open-water leg south to Vis town or Komiža.
Monday — Vis → Palmižana, Pakleni islands (18 nm). Round Vis to the buoys at Palmižana; Hvar town by water-taxi in the evening.
Tuesday — Pakleni → Stari Grad, Hvar (14 nm). Around the west cape into Stari Grad’s long inlet; the town quay or the ACI marina.
Wednesday — Stari Grad → Bol, Brač (10 nm). Zlatni Rat and the channel between Brač and Hvar; buoys off the beach and a small harbour in town.
Thursday — Bol → Milna, Brač (14 nm). West along the Brač coast to Milna’s sheltered harbour and marinas.
Friday — Milna → Trogir (12 nm). Back across the channel with a lunch stop on Šolta; refuel at the marina before the 9:00 return next morning.
