Getting there
By air. Paros Airport (PAS) is about 10 km from Parikia — 15 minutes by taxi, with flights from Athens and summer charters. By ferry. Ferries from Piraeus and Rafina land at Parikia in three to five hours; Naousa is 12 km across the island.
Paros before you cast off
Parikia’s Byzantine church of Ekatontapiliani and its Cycladic old town are a walk from the port; Naousa’s fishing harbour and the Venetian fort are the evening spot on the island. Lefkes in the hills and the Kolymbithres granite beach are half-day trips; Antiparos is a ten-minute ferry from Pounda.

Saturday — Paros → Antiparos (8 nm). A short leg south through the Antiparos channel to the quay or the bays of the small island.

Monday — Naxos → Koufonisi (18 nm). South-east to the small Cyclades: Ano Koufonisi’s harbour and the beaches of Pori.
