Rogoznica is a fishing village on the coast between Primošten and Trogir whose bay holds Marina Frapa, a resort marina with hotel, pool and restaurants built on an islet in the harbour. It is a quiet, comfortable start for a Dalmatian week, forty minutes from Split Airport, with the Šibenik archipelago and the Kornati to the north and the Split islands to the south.
Getting there
By air. Split Airport (SPU) is about 35 km — 40 minutes by taxi or transfer. By road. Rogoznica is on the coast road between Trogir and Šibenik; the A1 exit Šibenik or Prgomet is 25–30 minutes away. Paid parking inside the marina. By bus. Coaches between Split and Šibenik stop in Rogoznica; the marina is a short walk from the village.
Rogoznica before you cast off
The village is a ring of houses around the harbour with the Dragon’s Eye lake — a salt lake in a rock basin — a short walk behind it. Primošten’s walled islet and Trogir’s old town are each 20–30 minutes by road for the day before departure.
Supermarket in the village and a shop in the marina; fuel is on the marina dock.
