Getting there
By air. Athens Airport (ATH) is about 200 km — two and a half to three hours by road, or a taxi to Piraeus and the hydrofoil to Porto Heli via Hydra and Spetses. By road. Via Corinth, Epidaurus and Kranidi; parking along the quay and in the town.
Porto Heli before you cast off
The bay is ringed with villas and tavernas; Spetses town is 15 minutes by water-taxi, ancient Epidaurus and Nafplio an hour by road. The Franchthi cave, one of the oldest inhabited sites in Greece, is across the bay at Koilada.
