Punat is on the island of Krk, which is joined to the mainland by a bridge and has the Rijeka airport at its northern end — so a charter from Marina Punat starts with no ferry and a 30-minute transfer. The marina fills the enclosed Puntarska Draga bay and is one of the oldest and largest on the Adriatic; the cruising ground is the Kvarner gulf: Rab, Cres, Lošinj, Pag and the mainland coast under the Velebit mountains.
It is the base for crews driving from Austria, Slovenia and southern Germany, five hours from Munich. The bora comes down the Velebit channel hard in spring and autumn; July and August are calm and warm.

What is not in the price?
