Getting there
By air. Rijeka Airport (RJK) is on Krk itself, about 25 km from Punat — 30 minutes by taxi or transfer. Zagreb and Ljubljana airports are two to two and a half hours by road. By road. Over the Krk bridge from the Rijeka–Zagreb motorway; Punat is 40 minutes from the bridge. Paid parking inside the marina for the week. By bus. Coaches from Rijeka and Zagreb run to Krk town and Punat.
Punat before you cast off
Košljun, the wooded monastery island in the middle of the bay, is a five-minute boat ride from the marina. Krk town, with its cathedral and Frankopan castle, is 10 km away; the Baška beach at the island’s southern end and the Vrbnik vineyards on the cliffs are the island’s other two stops. Rijeka is 45 minutes by road.
Supermarkets are in Punat within walking distance and the marina has shops, restaurants and a fuel dock.

Sunday — Krk → Rab town (18 nm). South to Rab’s four bell towers and the ACI marina under the old town.

Tuesday — Pag → Ilovik (22 nm). West across the gulf to the sheltered channel at Ilovik.
Wednesday — Ilovik → Mali Lošinj (10 nm). Lošinj’s long inlet and a proper town for the evening.
Thursday — Lošinj → Cres town (25 nm). North up Cres to the Venetian town in its bay.
