Motor yachts in Croatia
Motor yachts in Croatia charter mostly crewed and by the week, from Split, Trogir, Kaštela and Dubrovnik, with the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro a day south. Ferretti, Azimut, Princess, Sunseeker and Prestige between 45 and 90 feet are the core of the fleet; larger yachts with full crew sit at ACI Split and in Trogir. The itinerary is the same island chain a sailing boat covers, at three times the speed: Hvar for the evening, Vis and Komiža next morning, the Kornati or Dubrovnik within the week.
A crewed price covers the boat and crew; fuel, marina berths, food and drink are paid on top through an advance provisioning allowance, and fuel is the largest of them. Smaller motor yachts up to about 50 feet are offered bareboat to licensed skippers from the same marinas.
