2,065 sailing boats are available to book across 61 departure bases. The largest are Athens (519), Lefkada (441), Lavrion (163). The most common models are Oceanis 46.1 (105), Bavaria Cruiser 46 (96), Oceanis 51.1 (82), Sun Odyssey 410 (79) — 250 models in all. Built 1979–2027, 9.3–31 m long, 1–7 cabins, up to 25 guests. Weekly prices start from €735; every price on this page is the boat’s own listed rate for 7 nights, before extras.
Sailing boats in Greece
Greece has the largest sailing fleet on this site. The Athens marinas at Alimos and Lavrion hold the bulk of it, with Lefkada, Corfu and Preveza in the Ionian, Kos and Rhodes in the Dodecanese, and smaller bases at Paros, Skiathos and Volos. Weeks run Saturday to Saturday from April to October. Every Greek harbour moors stern-to with the boat's own anchor, and the meltemi decides the route: from mid-June to mid-September the Cyclades get force six and more most afternoons, while the Ionian and the Saronic gulf stay gentle and suit families and first charters.
Bareboat needs a recognised skipper's licence and, on most boats, a second competent crew member on the crew list. The fleet is Bavaria, Beneteau, Jeanneau, Dufour and Hanse from 32 to 55 feet, with the newest boats at Lavrion and Lefkada. The base fee is per week; the transit log, end cleaning and often the outboard are paid at the base, and a deposit is held.
