Motor boats in Greece
Motor boats in Greece are day boats and RIBs on the islands: Mykonos, Santorini, Paros, Corfu, Rhodes, Skiathos and the coast south of Athens. Greece lets a boat of up to 30 horsepower go out without a licence, so most of the small fleet is hired by the day for a beach that has no road; anything larger goes with a skipper or a licence. From Mykonos the run is Delos and Rhenia; from Santorini the caldera and the volcano; from Corfu Paxos and the Albanian coast.
Prices are per day, fuel usually on top. Larger motor boats and small cabin cruisers charter by the week from Athens and Corfu to licensed skippers.
